Schools are offering their pupils the chance to go on educational school trips whist in school. This has many benefits and is a fun way for pupils to learn about new subjects. Research has shown that many students learn better when they are out of a classroom environment as it seems to take some of the pressure off them and allow them to explore the subject in ways other than would be possible in a classroom.

Some pupils may also not have the opportunity to go away very often with their parents, school trips are educational but also can be a well deserved break away for many. Schools are also now planning trips that evolve the pupils staying away from home for a few days, this helps to build their confidence and also give them a little responsibility that will help them in later life. Museums, historical cities and foreign countries are just a few of the likely places a pupil can visit.
